When I started working on building my own trading bots, the first struggle that I had was actually launching the bots instead of developing them. This seemed odd; I needed to code on VS Code, commit my code to GitHub, connect to my VPS with SSH, recover my code from GitHub, handle env. and dependencies, and update my crontab to finally have my code running.

One small modification means doing it all over again. Thus, I decided to create Altomat (https://altomat.lovable.app), a classical finance app on which you can place orders, monitor your portfolio, follow analysis and metrics… with one addition.

You can very quickly connect your VPS to the app and then code, talk to Alto (my AI assistant), commit code to GitHub, handle dependencies, and env., and crontab all from the webapp, with high security and simple UX.

Using it for the first time confirmed instantly that this is very useful to gain time and efficiency.

I am really proud of the idea and the execution.

I am currently thinking of pushing the project one step ahead and starting to propose a cloud service to people who don't even want to rent their own VPS.
